MARRIAGES BOUND BY FRIENDSHIP

How wonderful to get married to one’s best friend? Answers can be quite interesting! Puzzled as I was, my friend inspired me to write a short write up for his wedding. I was thinking what to gift him for remembering this wonderful event. By constant persuasion, he made me write a short write up about the event. As it is, I happen to be a professional photographer of ATHAM Wedding Hub. However, it was by chance that I attended his wedding.

Recalling the event, I saw the bride looking up towards the sky as if for a surprise gift from heaven. She was dressed in traditional attire for performing the rituals before the marriage at the temple. After seeking abundant graces from above, she went to her friend’s house.

The lady greeted her friend with a cheer on her face. She was helped by her friend in the dressing room as an old custom. They had a hug of love kindled by deep friendship. Later on, the bride was accompanied by her close family members for the wedding ceremony.

After the traditional rites, couples garlanded each other for a lifetime bond. Happiness spread around like a sweet smell of jasmine flowers, bringing smiles on all her well-wishers and relatives.

All who were present greeted the newly-wed couple with gifts and blessings. Traditional rituals full of love and blessings filled them with smiles. The smiling photographs of the couple were clicked by professional photographers present at the temple premises for a wedding album.

The couples performed the rituals in traditional style to please their gods by wearing a garland of green flowers.

While the couples were being greeted by all, the rose bouquets waited for their turn. Hungry as they were, the guests rushed for a mouth-watering meal. The meal prepared was according to the customary Hindu tradition with a variety of vegetarian delicacies.

The dishes were also followed by a glass of sweet porridge for all to enjoy. All these events were celebrated at a well decorated stage especially for the event. The red curtains with golden rings swirled around conveying the wonderful message of love to one and all. Wishing the best, the guests bid goodbye to the newlywed couple.

Lastly, as a way of bidding farewell, the bride’s mother placed on her head a glittering tiara of jewels to remind her of her own wedding. I, on behalf of all and ATHAM Wedding Hub greeted the newlywed with choicest blessings, wishing them a happy married life ahead.
